Faced with the precipice, the temptation to jump is mixed with the fear of emptiness, but also with the expectation of something that perhaps he does not even know he is looking for, there are no certainties, only the feeling that each step, or the absence of it, will mark something that cannot be undone.
Not to jump is to move forward, with the burden of what has not been lived. To jump is to leave everything behind, without knowing if there will be something on the other side, but perhaps also without wanting to know. The decision is not an act of bravery or cowardice, but of survival, a way of continuing to be, in spite of everything.
