María had it all figured out: a husband she adored, two daughters, and a comfortable, sheltered life in Diego’s shadow. When Diego, the love of her life, disappears, she discovers at age forty that she doesn’t know who she is without him. Something as simple as going to the bank alone or driving at night becomes a whole new world, and caught between fear and a freedom she had never experienced before, María unwittingly begins the first day of the rest of her life.

Forced to reinvent herself, she finds work in the advertising world and learns to support a household on her own and raise two daughters who grow up far too quickly and leave to study abroad. In the midst of this whirlwind, she allows herself to be swept away by Luca—the husband of Isabel, her lifelong best friend—in a game of desire and complicity that threatens to tear everything apart. María teeters on the edge of the abyss while wondering what she’s really looking for: companionship, escape, or simply to feel again.

On the other side of the world, Isabel takes the opposite path. Fed up with her luxuries and an empty life, she leaves everything behind to travel as an aid worker to the heart of Africa, where an orphaned girl restores the meaning and motherhood that life had taken from her. Her determination not to lose her will lead her to cross every boundary, even those of the law.

From Dawn to Dusk, this is the story of two women seeking the same thing but taking opposite paths: to rediscover themselves and learn to distinguish between the love felt in the flesh and the love felt in the soul. An intimate and luminous novel about loneliness, reinvention, and second chances, written with a tenderness that stays with you long after the last page.

How do you frame your new work?

Bran Sólo's work is sent unframed for security reasons, to avoid damage due to glass breakage and to reduce shipping and customs costs for international shipments. However, it is very easy to find a frame for your new work.

All reproductions and special editions have a standard size of A4, A3 or 50x70cm. This makes it easy and inexpensive to find a ready-made frame to fit the work.

The original works are usually the same size, except for some works on paper with artistic formats. This means that you will be able to frame almost any artwork with ready-made frames that you can find in home decor stores.

In the description of each artwork you can find the approximate size, but we recommend waiting to receive the artwork at home before ordering a personalized passepartout (see below).

Oil paintings on wood do not need framing or glass, they are ready to hang when you receive them. All have been varnished with UV filter and dust protection to ensure their durability.

- Reproductions: The sizes are A4 (21x29,7cm), A3 (29,7x42cm), or 50x70cm. You can find frames in IKEA, LEROY MERLIN, or MICHAEL'S

- Originals: If the size of the work does not correspond to the standard frame sizes of your country, or you want to use a frame that you have at home, simply find a frame with a larger size and order a passepartout or mat with that frame size, and with a window of the size of the work (-4mm security).
You have online stores selling passepartouts at Europe and in USA .
This way, you will have an economical frame and the work will breathe in the outline, being cleaner and more elegant. You can always make a custom frame, to your liking, depending on your budget.
