In the withered silhouette of a man lies a dry tree, sprouting from where a fertile heart once beat. Its branches, bare and fragile, stretch like pleading fingers toward the sky, seeking the warmth of a sun that has hidden behind the clouds of oblivion.

Its roots, once deep and lively, now writhe in the emptiness of a cracked chest, where love has vanished leaving behind a barren ground. There are no leaves to rustle in the wind, no flowers to perfume the air; only the memory of a lost greenery that melts in the dust of lovelessness.
